SSI Divemaster Course
The SSI Divemaster program is the first professional level. While some of the program has to be completed in the ocean, you can complete a significant portion of the course here in Bangalore, and then complete the ocean portion as and when you are able to get free.

Some of these can be completed in Bangalore and other parts need to be completed in the Open Water – which can be done during our various camps.
In terms of duration – it is hard to put a number. A lot of the Divemaster skills are on a sliding scale: things like judgement, experience, decision-making. The more time you spend on it, the better you get. And there is also a person-to-person variation. So we have structure the course pricing in a way that is open-ended for everyone.
Candidates are encouraged to take as much time as needed to complete the course, and to go well beyond the bare minimum.
Pre-requisites
- Minimum age – 18
- Holding a Rescue Diver certification
- Holding a valid CPR/First Aid/O2/AED certificate issued within the past 24 months (if not, we can do one with you)
- Minimum 40 logged dives
- Own set of equipment
