Unlike the Open Water course, this is more of a practical course – the idea is to give you, the diver, experience of diving in different sort of circumstances or with different goals in mind: deep diving, navigation, refining your buoyancy, etc.
Nitrox Course
The Nitrox course allows you to dive deeper and also reduces the risk of DCS. And it is very easy to do (a mix of self-study and online classes that take a few hours). All of that makes it an almost essential course for divers.

Nitrox is entirely indistinguishable from regular air in terms of taste and feel. Learning to dive with nitrox is essentially a class in learning about how to plan and execute dives safely with this gas – in other words, it is mainly a theoretical class.
The course works as follows: we will assign you the study materials to complete via self-study. After that, there is a follow-up online session with an instructor reviewing the theory and adding practical tips about how to dive effectively with this gas. Lastly, there is a practical session on how to use the gas. And that’s it.
A short and efficient class, and the benefits are up to 10-15% more bottom times while on diving trips.
