Why Buy From Us?

As India’s only multi-brand equipment seller, we sell gear from Aqualung, Mares, Tusa, Shearwater, Scubapro and Cressi.  Every piece of kit we sell is authentic, backed by manufacturer’s warranty and comes with a GST invoice.  However, there is a catch.    We do not have an online ordering system.   We do not have a price catalog. You will need to actually email or Whatsapp us with your requirements and to get a price.

Yes, we agree that is very antiquated in this day and age – but there is a method to this madness and we feel that the benefits are worth it.   Read on for what those are.

Expert Advice

We are in the teaching and diving travel business, mainly – gear retail is a service we provide our divers to facilitate their diving.   As dive professionals (and avid gear addicts), we know what products are reliable, what are more style over substance and also what is suitable for different people.   And because we are the only vendor in the country that deals with all the brands listed above, we are not beholden to pushing one brand when another may have a better product for you.

So you can be sure we will help you find the gear that is best suited for your needs, as opposed to trying to sell you whatever we have in stock (and sometimes, this advice could even be “don’t get anything right now”)

Best Prices

Let’s face it – we all love deals.   And we can source you the gear at the best prices in the market.    This is because of two reasons.

For starters, we do not keep inventory in stock but order as needed.   This reduces our inventory costs and allows us to pass on the savings to you.  Second, gear retail isn’t what we do.    As mentioned elsewhere, it is a service we provide to our divers, and we hope you will use that shiny gear to do a course or trip with us.

Not having an expensive automated CMS system and online shop that tracks real-time inventory from various distributors reduces our cost, as does not having an extensive catalog or price list (keeping that up to date is a full-time job).  And we pass that savings on to you.

So yes, this means that you have to contact us to ask what is available and may have to wait a few days to get your new toys, but the savings are significant.

Try Before You Buy

A lot of scuba gear is best tried before you buy.     This especially holds true for fins and masks.

With masks, while trying in a shop kinda works, nothing beats taking the mask in the water to get a sense of what it feels like.    Fins are even more critical to try – this often-ignored piece of kit can make the single biggest improvement to your diving if you get it right:  not only does your propulsion becomes easier with fins that match your kicking style/leg strength, but your trim also improves.   This improves your air consumption, your buoyancy and also your ability to handle currents.

We have tester units of the more popular mask and fin designs from various brands that you can come try out in a pool – and as always, our instructors will help you figure out what works best for you.
